Description:
“Skaneateles Creek breaks away from it’s namesake by pouring through a pipe at the dam on the lake’s north end and tumbling north for about 11 wavy miles to feed the Seneca River (New Erie Canal) west of Jordan.  Along the way, it runs through a couple of large rural villages and tiny hamlets and squeezes through a scenic gorge.” – Fishing Western New York
